Description
Spiral heater coil with thermocouple is made of nickel chrome resistance wire, steel tube which is filled with MgO powder.Spiral heater coil is also known as high performance tubular heaters or cable heaters. It can be produced with or without built in thermocouples.
Spiral heater coil is widely used in heating engineering, mold, plastic industry, including the transfer machinery, medical equipment, casting process, welding, heat treatment process and many other industries and fields.
Spiral heater element solve heating problems, where space is limited. Its flexibility means that they can be easily fitted around a pipe or used in a completely straight design.It can also be used as cartridge heaters where the hole size is irregular.
We offer from stock a large selection of spiral heater coil for plastic injection runnerless molding bushings and for internally heated in injection machine nozzles. The inside diamter of a coiled heater is wound undersized for a screw-on fit. Therefore,hold-down straps are not usually required.
One specific way to improve the spiral heater element design is to use a square or rectangular mineral insulated cable,which has a flat surface contact,allowing better heat conduction and a faster start-up time.
